About the work

Seiya and his fellow Bronze Saints fight in service of Athena, a goddess reincarnated as a young girl, to protect Earth from the assaults of other Greek deities. Wearing their Cloths — sacred armor forged from a celestial material — they must raise their Cosmos, their inner energy, to face increasingly powerful foes, from the Sanctuary's Gold Saints to the Specters of Hades.

Created by Masami Kurumada in 1986, Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac) marked an entire generation in the West through its unique blend of Greek mythology, coming-of-age storytelling and spectacular battles driven by values of perseverance and brotherhood. The saga continues to be developed today through spin-off manga, animated films and a Netflix series.
