About the work

Naruto Uzumaki, a rowdy young ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village, carries within him the nine-tailed fox demon sealed on the day of his birth, making him an outcast in the eyes of his village. Determined to become Hokage, the village's most respected leader, he trains alongside Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno under Kakashi Hatake's guidance, while facing the criminal organization Akatsuki.

Created by Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto became one of the pillars of global shōnen manga thanks to its richly built ninja world — clans, chakra, secret techniques — and the tragic rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke, one of the genre's most memorable duos. The saga continued with Naruto Shippuden and then Boruto, following the next generation of Konoha ninja.
